ATTENDANCE POLICY

Students hold the responsibility of regular and prompt attendance to school and to each class each day. A student will be marked absent if he/she is not in class to which they are assigned. Parents must call the attendance office to report any absence on the morning of the absence. The first five absences may be excused by a parent. Additional absences may only but excused with a doctor's note. Five unexcused absences will return a student to his/her home school. Only students with excused absences will be permitted to submit make up work. Skipping class is an unexcused absence and will result in parental contact by the teacher and administrative action, as well as poor academic and conduct grades.
